For what its worth; about 2 years ago the CAP (TX wing at least) banned
Simple Green for aircraft cleaning. Seems that it has/had some
potential for causing corrosion.

For those interested, I went to the simple green web site, filled out
the form asking for a free sample of Extreme Simple Green aviation
cleaner about a month ago. Today UPS delivered my free sample, a full
32 ounce spray bottle. The same as the one sold at my local Walmart for

$9.39. Now you may not want to use it on the aircraft but it's free
folks, heck use it to clean the BBQ. It is approved by Boeing aircraft
for aircraft cleaning by the way.
