Are you sure this isn't 'oil-canning,' in which loose rivets sound like an oil can popping when you flex the wing up and down a few inches standing at the wingtip?

Hi all. I recall asking this question a few months ago, but do not recall the answers. I have an Alon coming into annual this month which snaps & pops when you step on the left wing. I have determined the sound is coming from the Belleville Springs, which seem to be over springing (bending?). In any case, has anyone else come across this problem, and if so, what did you do to solve the problem.
I put a completely different stack of Belleville Springs on the strut, but got the same problem. I do not believe there is any problem structurally.
