Hi Ed,
The Model C Flight Manual is a single sheet published as Ercoupe Information Letter No. 2 (in Ercoupe Bulletins and Memoranda available from Univair). Those with a 415-C should consider this single sheet "manual" as FAA-required for flight. Don't leave home without it!
If your 75-H.P. engine has been "upgraded" to 85-H.P., the engine H.P and 2275 r.p.m "Engine Limits" should be changed appropriately (2575 r.p.m. for the 85-HP), and said changes initialled (by pilot in command?) I know of no one (I could be wrong!) that actually gets an F.A.A. Inspector to sign their photocopy these days. Don't know if we're "legal", but it's certainly the common practice.
The closest thing to a "415C Pilots Operating Handbook" is the Ercoupe Instruction Manual, also available from Univair. Buy it, know it, and use it; even though, strictly speaking, it isn't "required". Neither is common sense.
I believe what Univair sent you was their "F.A.A. Approved Airplane Flight Manual for Ercoupe Model 415-D. The information in it presumes an airframe loaded to 1400 lbs. gross. There is no comparable authoritative source for data specific to the Model 415-C Ercoupe, so many of us use, or consult the 415-D numbers knowing them to be conservative for 1260 lb. gross. operations. Again, this isn't "required", but I keep this booklet in the plane for permanent reference.

Looking for a 415C Pilots Operating Handbook. Sent for one from Univair but they sent one for a 415 D model. Said they were practically the same and I do not neccessarily agree. Interested in getting all the pertainant V speeds ie Va, Vno etc. so I can mark the airspeed inst. Will be takeing my practical soon and need stuff up to snuff. Also am still looking for fuel pump. Have had no luck on finding an old Ford or Case tractor pump. Any other Ideas. Thanks (everyone's so helpfull),/smaller>/fontfamily>
