Only one prop is STC'd for the O-200 conversion... the McCauley 1A101/DCM 6948.  Others must be field approved (this is what it reads on the STC).  The STC paperwork also states that after initial break in, a 6950 would be better... but still, you would need field approval.

 

This is for my O-200-A powered 'coupe with EAA AutoGas STC...
The following four lines are my estimates from last 20 hours of flight recorded (I keep a journey logbook)...
100 mph ground speed average (75% power)
5.9 gph (75% power - no leaning below 5000')
350 fpm climb at 1000' / 100° F / 1400 lbs
750 fpm climb at 1000' /  65° F / 1300 lbs

 

Power Plant Operating Limitations

1.  Engine:
Engine Make – Continental
Engine Model – O-200-A
Rated Power – 100 HP at 2750 R.P.M.
Temperature Limits:
     Cylinder Head - 525° F
     Cylinder Barrel - 290° F
     Oil Inlet – 240° F
Minimum Fuel octane rating
     – 80/87 minimum grade aviation gasoline
     - 87 minimum grade unleaded automotive gasoline

2.  Propeller:

a.  Fixed pitch metal (McCauley Model 1A101/DCM 6948)
Diameter    - Maximum 69 inches
            - Minimum 69 inches
Static R.P.M. Limits  - Not more than 2450
                      - Not less than 2350

3.  Power plant take-off, maximum continuous operation limits and instrument markings.

Could someone tell me the rpm limits on the 0200 conversion and what props are recommended? Also, what airspeeds and fuel flows do you see with the 0200?
