Connect with Mark Harden the FBO in Terrell, Texas. He's very `coupe
oriented and can help you with the repair. He might even have a trailer.

And if you're ever in the Roswell area, drop by.

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Rear spar attach fittings and trailer needed.

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any
advice in this forum.]----

Greetings all. I bought N99547 several years ago because it was my fathers
back in the 60's. Athough it was in annual, it needed some work. With a
career change and move from Indiana to Texas on the horizon it was put in
storage. Now that things are starting to settle down a bit my thoughts are
starting to get back to the coupe. I need help in two area's. First, I
need to find a trailer in the Arlington, Texas, area to transport the coupe
from Indiana to Texas. Second of all, while looking over the wings I found
that the rear spar attach fittings were rusting between the spar and the
fitting. I removed the fittings and remarkably the spar was in good shape,
but the fittings are pitted bad and will need to be replaced. Does anyone
have a clue as to were I can find replacement fittings? Or perhaps they can
be fabricated out of 4130?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
