To me the interesting part of this NTSB report is what a pilot would be thinking when he decided to go fly aerobatics in a 60 year old airplane that was not approved for aerobatics, without wearing a parachute, and carrying an innocent and ignorant passenger with him.  There are some issues that cannot be resolved with AD's and SB's, mandatory or not.
 
This is the kind of behavior that results in more regulations, more bad publicity, and higher insurance premiums for all of us. 
 
Just my opinion.  Others, obviously, would disagree.
