I just looked at mine, s/n 4933. If you look up from the
top
of the tire with a mirror you should see a nut on the underside
of the fork. Catalog shows it as AN320 - 4, but not
what
it is attached to. It appears that a stud is in the strut tube and
off set from the center. Perhaps this stud is sheared and
allowing the strut to rotate on the fork. I don't know what
else holds the fork to the strut tube other than interference
fit.
