Coupers, I have located a fellow in Iowa who is
willing buy the necessary equipment to do the
ultra-sound test if the SB becomes an AD. He would be
willing to get the equipment even without it being an
AD, if enough owners wanted it. He is a level 2 tech
and will travel to your location for mileage. The
price he quoted me was rather high, but that was based
on doing only 1 plane. So, if the SB becomes an AD and
he can get more planes, to do, then the price will
come down. If you would like his name, ph. no. and or
his email let me know. He works out of the Omaha,
Nebr. area.
PS. I did not want to have to go to Colo. or pay
mileage from Colo. to here.
