I just purchased the STC and kit to install the O-200 Crankshaft, pistons and connecting rods in my C-85. Cost including the STC, new crank, four pistons, four wrist pins, four refurbished connecting rods and four new Millenium cylinders was $5700. The whole kit minus the cylinders was less than the cost of a C-85 new crank which was and is of course not available. It ain't cheap. If you have a flanged crank now, I would have it checked out first before spending about $2700 for the STC and kit. If your case is one of the older ones, you will need some machine work done to it to make it work. Not a lot of work but it must be done. And one other point, Shop around for the STC and kit. There was a $1200 spread between the two STC holders. The one who is in Georgia would have also cost me sales tax of 6% on $5700.
