In reply to DOCTOR Beeman's various posts, I suggest the following procedures if he or any of you wish to read up on airplane-related taxes:

(1)go to the AOPA site (2) click on MEMBERS SECTION (3)Select PILOT INFORMATION CENTER
  (4) select LIBRARY (5) select AOPA Pilot's Guide to Taxes

The content is very informative, but far too lengthy for me to post it here.

I'm glad to get your contributions, Susan. I particularly enjoyed the one
about getting scammed on an airplane buy. The terminally stupid, like the
poor, will always be with us. And there will always be some sharp cookie to
part them from their cash. Hope my suggestions for protecting yourself
during a transaction will help.

So some of your stuff is AOPA reprints? So what? Your short takes are a lot
more readable than a lot of their stuff. As a matter of fact, your
reference to tax consequences never appeared in the magazine and I would
have missed it on the web site. I NEED that information right now so I
appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

Thanks, Susan; some of us really appreciate you going to the trouble. Stay
with it!

Yep! and I'm one of them, Keep it up Susan! This is supposed to be a forum
of discussion, why not discuss it before attempting to speak for me!
