We are using "Lucas" upper cylinder lubricant which
is added to the fuel. We were using 100LL av gas but it has 4 times
the lead that the old 80 oct. av. gas and wound up with lead fouled plugs.
We had the STC for auto fuel so we started using 87oct. auto fuel and
adding the "Lucas" and the fouled plugs completely cleared up. Our A&P
recommended it over the Marvel Mystery oil which is primarily a
solvent.

What did you want to use it for?I looked at it as a potential oil and fuel additive, but abandoned the idea when I learned it's not FAA approved. After researching, I ended using AV Blend as an oil additive and Alcor TCP as a fuel additive.Eliacim----- Original Message -----From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]Sent: Sunday, March 19, 2006 5:29 PMSubject: [COUPERS-TECH] marvel carb----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Have any of you guys used Marvel Mystery oil? and what were the results?
