MMO is a SOLVENT! It has been around since the Model T days. The mystery is why. It will dissolve sloshing compound if used in the fuel and could attack O rings depending on what they are made of. Modern aviation oils have all the additives that your engine needs. Engine problems like high oil consumption, sticking valves, etc. can not be cured with stuff like MMO.
