Dick A push button starter would be the perfect solution to Susan's issue. You have mentioned the issues of cost and installation, but there is another: the required field approval (337). I don't know how it is in other parts of the country, but here in DFW, my A&P/IA's experience is that field approvals are hard to get through, even for the simplest and most obvious mods.
