I also have a 337 for the shoulder harnesses in my Ercoupe and will
happy to mail a PDF to anyone interested.

Eliacim,
If you are a member of the Ercoupe Owners Club you can find a copy
of my 337 for shoulder harnesses on
http://www.ercoupe.org/MembersOnly/337s.asp. It is Sample 2 on the
list. I'll be glad to mail you a copy if you can't get to it by
computer. Just send me your address.

I have learned so far about two alternatives to get shoulder
harnesses in an Ercoupe:
1. Smolder - Seems to be the preferred, well engineered one. I bought
the package from Mr Smolder a few months ago (at that time he stated
he would not be distributing it anymore)
2. Falconair - I have read the comments on file and I am convinced it
is much inferior that the Smolder.
However, after reading the FAA document, kindly forwarded by John
Cooper, on shoulder harness approval, it seems the FAA would agree
that the Falconair install is better than having nothing, and seems
that it could be installed by a log entry because it does not (or
does it?) modify the structure.
Comments?
I am waiting for some information from Skyport, which could become
yet a third alternative.
Are there any shoulder harness installs out there other than the
Smolder and the Falconair, I should know about, and evaluate, before
making a decision??
Thanks for your help
