This is what I copied from the Type certificate:
Engine Continental C85-12, C85-12F
Fuel 73 minimum grade aviation gasoline
Engine Limits For all operations, 2575 r.p.m. (85 hp.)
Airspeed Limits Maneuvering 108 mph (94 kts) True Ind.
Max. structural cruising 114 mph (99 kts) True Ind.
Never exceed 144 mph (125 kts) True Ind.
That should answer your question.

On an Ercoupe my friend just bought, a D model with a C-85 and a metal prop,
the redline is marked at 2300 RPM. Could this be correct? Thanks
