I've gotten 3 or 4 emails asking that we have a gathering of Coupes in the northeast. I've posted this email on both lists as some subscribe to one or the other list. I'd like a list of people who are interested. Please send your name, phone number and any ideas/help you want to add off list to me. If I get enough interest, I'll put a meet together this summer.......

As I just wrote to Tom, according to FAA records I have the only
Ercoupe in RI and I get to feeling lonely. I looked up Wolcott on
Mapquest and you look like less than an hour away as I keep mine at
Westerly (I live 2 mi. S. of Univ. of RI). Should we consider a get
together or something? Don't we have "Wing Leader" in CT? Maybe we
should have a little Southern New England Ercoupe fly-in, as I believe
there about 6 in CT and 4?? in MA and I'm not sure how many in the
adjacent states. Frankly I'm really dismayed when I look at the
Ercoupe meets and see them scattered through the far west, southwest,
south, midwest, and so on. Can't we do at least a little something for
our thin troops out here?
