It has been getting harder and harder to find an AI who will do an owner
assisted annual in the Houston area.
There is one who is seldom sober and will sign off a horse and cart
when he is not.
Two who have retired, two died, one moved South. Three more who are
too busy and two who do not return calls.
And who wants one that says bring your plane over and I will get to it when
I have the time?
I have finally found one who is good, will drive to your hangar or do it at
his.
He works for Continental Airlines part time and has his own practice the
rest of the time.
Just paid $250.- for a complete wings off annual inspection which included
putting my logbooks up to date with a list of the AD's in the back.
4 hours total work time.
Mine was his first coupe but he sure did his research before coming
over.
