The June, 2006 issue of Coupe Capers, p 9,  contains a Coshocton, OH, Fly-out "blurb" by Marv Dunlap mentioning loss of two ALON canopies in flight. What is this all about? I hadn't read anything about it. Can Marv or other Coupers/ALON owners please confirm or deny these frightening occurences? Did they happen in flight with the canopy open? What, if anything, happened to the elevator/rudders when the canopy separations took place? What, exactly was the roller and screw problem he mentioned?
