I called FSS on Sat. morning for an update on possible TFR's in my area as it was a beautiful morning to fly.
Somehow the briefer thought I was filing a flight plan. Something I have never done and he was asking questions that I had to get clarification on to answer. Such as fuel on board... I said 24 gallons..... he said I don't want gallons, I want time in flight. Another question was persons on board...... I said 2........he said color......I almost said caucasion, but luckily realized he meant color of the plane. I flew to Terrell this year and that was the longest X country I have ever made to date, so really have had no reason to file. Mostly local flying. Anyway thanks to all for the advice.
