Joey, I am not an expert, by any means, and I am sure you will get a lot of answers from those who know more than I. I recently had my C-90 overhauled and they recommended I use a straight 50W in the Summer and
Philips 20W50 in the Winter. It gets pretty hot here in Nebraska in the Summer. I have been using Aeroshell
100+ for the 50W. A mechanic told me the  " + "  means that they have added anti corrosion additives to the oil, whereas Philips already had them in their oil. This was the recommendation to me, and that is what I follow
but I am sure there are better ideas out there in " Couper Land ".

Question
Which oil grades are preferred (single grade or multi grade) for the small continentals?
I use Phillips 20W50 and have good pressure and temps. I am just courious
as to which would be best, or if one had an advantage over the other.
