I am seeing a number of folks that have experienced an absence of oil pressure upon start up and there are probably many more that have not stated that they have had the problem. I am wondering how many folks would be interested in a moderately priced STCed device that would prevent this situation from occuring. This statement is based on the assumption that the problem is not caused by a worn out oil pump or excessively worn engine parts. It is a simple problem to correct, but the STC approval may be expensive and I would want to recover at least part of the costs. I am surprised that TCM does not have a fix available as they are aware of the problem and it is not limited to just Ercoupes. Let me know.
