That is a great idea Randy. Kind of along the same line, I have a whole junked Ercoupe Fuselage that I have taken all the parts I need. The center section is shot, but maybe someone would like to use it for testing techniques, etc.

I have an idea. All of our airplanes are composed of obsolete parts. I've
got old Hayes brakes and old Eisman mags. Parts are getting hard to find for
this stuff.
What if we start an obsolete parts bank? When one of us upgraded brakes,
lets say, to Cleavlands he would send his old parts to the parts bank. If
someone else needed an expansion tube he could get it from the parts bank
for shipping cost plus a couple of bucks for handling.
Sometimes a junk part is of great use as a patern if you don't have
anything to go off of. One mans junk may be anothers treasure.
What do you guye think?
