Hi, everyone. We just solved the ignition problem on my 1946 415C and will report on that later today. Right now I need help on replacing the windshield. The current/old windshield is mounted as folows: There are 1/4" holes in the cab for the upper windshield mounting. In those 1/4" holes are #6 screws with O rings on the screw heads with self locking nuts. The # 6 screws are loose in the holes so they have been sealed with the O rings and some kind of RTV. There must be a better way than this to install the new windshield. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
