Recently we replaced the nose wheel bearing in my single fork 1946 415C (N2738H). During re-assembly, we noticed that the straight valve stem from the tube rubs on the main wheel nut. It doesn't appear to rub excessively and would probable not cause a problem for a long time. Should this airplane have a nose wheel tube with a bent valve stem?
