Dave, look very carefully for signs of corrosion. As you probably know, the mice didn't go outside to pee. Mouse pee contains acid that eats aluminum. By the way, how's your back?

Interesting discovery

We took the wings off Frolic last week and sent them to be recovered.

Fortunately, no significant corrosion.

BUT,

Amazed to find approximately TEN POUNDS of peanut shells, mouse droppings, carcasses and nests inside.

I wonder how many of those little beasts have been flying/hitch-hiking with me and the previous owners. We...or at least they... probably sowed baby mice all over the US.

Bet I will have a better climb rate, now.

By the way, the Seconite covers tore off like so much cheap newspaper. Sort'a scary.
