I recently discovered that my forward wing attach bolts have nylock nuts (fiber stop nuts) and I also found that the required nut for that location is a castellated nuts with cotter pins. Mine have been there for at least 27 years, and I wonder if any one else has noticed this to be the case in other Ercoupes?
