Finding a good mechanic can be hard. As a couple of my best mechanics have told me, owners of Coupes and other similar vintage planes (Cessna 120/140 and other) are at the low budget end of aviation. We don't want to spend the kind of money that makes it very profitable for the mechanic. Perhaps now that Coupe prices have gone up so much, many of you new Coupe owners will be in the more affluent bracket to make up for so many of us who aren't. Maybe then, mechanics will seek our business.
