Hey John: There are at least three different shoulder harness attach
methods. I do not know if they all have FAA signatures or not. The one I used a

couple of times is the one that an Alon owner in California had engineered and
approved. It does not require removing any rivets from the bulkheads behind the

baggage compartment. It adds stiffener plates on the two bulkheads behind the
baggage area and uses a 1/4 in steel rod to connect to them and to the
shoulder harness hook up points.
I have seen one that requires a triangular plate of aluminum to be
riveted between the bulkhead and the skin just behind the baggage area. And
another one that attaches to the rail along the side of the airplane, behind
the
baggage area. I do not know who has copies of the 337's, check with John at
Skyport.
