I have been with happy with Global Aerospace through Falcon through
the EAA. I have $25,000 hull, no deductible on ground or air damage,
and usual liability coverage, all for $700 a year. I think the EAA
involvement takes the deductibles to 0. Also, I had a small claim
last year (when I landed in a wheat field) and they covered all the
costs of removing the wings and trucking the plane to the nearest
airport and actually THANKED me for keeping damages to a minimum!
They still reduced my rate because my hours had increased to 250 (I'm
a new pilot).

This is not a technical question but assume it is OK to ask in this
forum. Does anyone have recommendations on insurance carriers for
the Coupe? My current policy costs me $900+ per year which is a
fair amount more than my old 172 policy. Thanks
