I'm gonna write up a canned answer for this question.  I just this minute
got of the phone with another fellow asking the very same thing.

The short answer is "Yes".

The longer answer is another question:  "What justifies the installation of
the O200 in the C or CD?"

There is, currently, as far as I know, *no* STC for installing an O200 in
any Ercoupe or derivative other than the model "D".  Installation of an O200
in any Ercoupe or derivative other than a model "D" *requires* a field
approval.  (This may change in the future, but for now it is fact.) If you
have a C or CD and it has an O200 installed and your paperwork does not
sport a field approval, then that plane is unairworthy in the eyes of the
FAA, regardless of the category.

If it has a field approval, then it is just as LSA qualified as any other C
or CD.
