Frank,

I purchased a new tank because my original (leaking) tank was far
from repairable, and, I was uncomfortable in buying a 'repaired' tank
from a third party (I'm not referring to John Wright). My coupe is SN
3608 and as you might remember from previous posts, the new tank DOES
NOT FIT, so serial numbers doesn't seem to be the issue.
    My A/P is still investigating.

If your A/P believes your tank to be serviceable, I'd suggest having
it repaired by John Wright.

Good luck!

Regards,
John
