Rick,

Yep, I can understand parking it for the winter if they don't plow the
field.

The first winter I had my Coupe was '78-79 and that's the year we had
phenomenal snow in Iowa. They didn't push the snow far enough back the
first time or two so the following huge snow falls made the runway narrower
and narrower.

Fortunately, we started with a 100' wide runway. But, by February, the
runway was only about 60' wide and bordered by concrete-snow piles that were
about 8'-12' high.

Even the high wing planes didn't have but a few inches more width advantage
than my Coupe. Care was called for.

But I flew a lot that winter off the packed snow that couldn't be scraped
away, staying away from the border ridges - all with no problem.

Have a warm winter.

Ed
