Guy My friend John Briar, now a member of this list, recently bought the new Icom panel mounted com for his Forney. The radio has a TSO C37d and C38d approval. His mechanic is hesitant about installing it. I remember there was a long thread a while back about installation of coms like this one and if they are legal to install. I could not locate the thread in the archive (might have been the former list, before Yahoo). Anyway, if anyone knows the facts, as the Feds see them about this, please enlighten me and John.
