I had problems with my heat control not staying out, and always vibration
closed, which constantly changed the heat. I took a short piece of vacum hose,
slit it length wise to go over the shank of the control. I pulled the heat
control all the way and cut the hose off at the base of the knob and the dash.
Now it stays out all the way. I have found my coupe to be much warmer than I
suspected it to be.
