[ercoupe-tech] Advice on buying an Ercoupe

I am planning to buy an Ercoupe (N 99164) that is located near San  
Antonio. Couple of questions:
Anyone know a good Ercoupe mechanic in that area I can use for a pre- 
buy inspection?
It has been treated with AT 50 anti-corrosion. Will that present a  
problem with repainting it?
Anyone out there have any personal knowledge of this plane?
I've been lurking on the site and learning a bunch from the exchanges
