Why didn't I think of that?  
 
That must be how the Alon that was on E-Bay last week had a cruising speed of 
120 KNOTS!  I wrote the seller and questioned that speed, and he checked with 
the owner and the owner evidently said it cruised at about 120 knots because 
of the special spring steel landing gear legs on the airplane. 
 
I'm kinda bummed out now.  My Alon has the same gear legs and mine only 
averages 90-95 knots.  Must be that rough green primer on my plane that slows 
it 
down so much.  Maybe when I paint it it will gain 25 knots......
