I did overhaul 2 of my airspeed meter and paid around 70 bucks each. 
A third one was so old , no overhaul was possible. 
I also like to mention that I bought a never used  by then 10-15 year old one 
from a project that never was finished.
That air speed meter was TSO'd and so to say brand new. But to be on the safe 
side I sent it in for verification /adjustment and even though never used it 
was found to be out of specs.
 
Now it is 5 years later and I am having the feeling it is out of specs again - 
the pointer will not point to 0 anymore as it used to.
