Randy,

I just had my nose tank repaired during the annual. I took the tank 
to a guy who repaired it for $80.00. I would consider letting 
someone fix it for you. I have been told that radiator repair shops 
can do that kind of work.

My A&P washed the tank out with soapy water, but he said that 
dangerous gases can still be generated when the metal is heated. 
Most repairmen that have worked on gas tanks will know what 
precautions to take.
