Fred,

I guess my previous post about not letting anyone tow the plane won't work in
your case. Two things that you could possibly do:

1. Ask them to move the plane by hand. If the tires are properly inflated,
you can move a Coupe around with one hand using a tow bar, because they don't
weigh anything. It will probably be more effort for them to climb on and off
of the tow motor and connect their tow bar than to move it by hand.

2. At the very least, you can paint yellow or orange turn limit lines on
your nose gear strut so that they can see where the turn limit is. If they
can't
easily see the limits, then it's a sure bet they will exceed them. I would
paint them on so that they indicate a smaller limit than actual, so that when
they cheat a little, you'll still be OK.

I still like the idea of not letting anyone touch the airplane better!
Keeping an airplane in a community hangar would give me ulcers.
