I had a poor experience with Falcon a year ago. I was referred to them thru the EAA/VAA Antique/Vintage program. The rate they quoted was $850 for 25k hull /100k liability which I felt was competitive. At the time I planned not to fly from Dec/April and they were supposed to put the policy on ground only during that time. Unfortunately when the refund check didn't arrive I called them numerous times and had a great deal of difficulty speaking to a person. They eventually agreed they had made an error and sent me a partial refund February/March. Trying to fined someone who was knowledgeable and could solve the problem was the frustrating part. It's no fun to be a small fish in a large pond. Were I calling about a King Air or a Lear I'm sure I would have gotten better service. But then again who knows? I just will never do business with them again.
I'm with Avemco now and other that the seat limitation of $100k I think they are more responsive. Noel Anderwson Canaan, CT
