Unfortunately I have had the pleasure of dealing with Avemco on 3
different occasions (fuel truck backed into me, tornado damaged the
plane and I totaled a Cherokee 6 thanks to my pushing the envelope
and a dust devil getting into the picture). On all occasions I had no
problem(s) with the insurance company. I wanted my plane repainted
after the fuel truck incident since they replace the rear 1/3 of the
plane and the paint didn't match. Their policy was not to improve the
plane over what it was before accident; but paid for "loss of value"
which just happened to equal a new paint job.
Summary: I've been happy with Avemco over the past 30 years.

Trying to fined someone who was knowledgeable and could solve the

large pond. Were I calling about a King Air or a Lear I'm sure I would
have gotten better service. But then again who knows? I just will
never do business with them again.
I'm with Avemco now and other that the seat limitation of $100k I
think they are more responsive.
