Folks:
I miss-spoke the other day. The fuel pump used by Skyport in the O200 STC and also in the 30 gallon fuel system does NOT have a check valve in it. However, one should not be necessary as the design of the fuel inlet to the header tank is supposed to prevent fuel from flowing backwards in order to prevent said fuel from fueling an engine compartment fire should the line burn through. This is accomplished by placing the inlet higher in the tank than the overflow, or by putting a standpipe inside the tank to accomplish the same thing in the case where the line enters the bottom of the tank. My problem is that all the fuel in the header tank is draining back into the wingtanks.
