Hey Jerry: Yes, I have done it. The only extra bit required is changing the leading edges back to fabric type. Everything else will still have to be done to recover them. Plan on about $2000 for materials. If you are doing the work, fine. If you are paying someone else to do the work, make certain to get the conversion included and get a fixed price for the job.
