Wolf,
I'm currently in the middle of the process so I don't have actual final
costs nor do I know of someone in your area to do the work. However my
guess as to the final cost using the PolyFiber process and STC is:
Materials: $2000.00 minimum (I'm using an envelope with padding on the
leading edge)
Labor: approximately 100 to 120 hours (basically a wild guess and may be
on the low side)
The above is based on what I've got done and what I think I have left to
do. I'm doing most of the labor myself under the supervision of the IA
that has worked on the plane since I bought it. The costs are estimated
through one color (no decoration) on the wings and very little repair
required to the wing structure itself.. What you would have to pay for
labor can vary. From my experience so far, (I've got both wing
assemblies cleaned, primed and ready to start the actual covering
process) I have saved the cost of about half the labor (50 hours). If
you have the time and are willing, I have found that it is possible to
keep the out of pocket cost very reasonable.
