In the records for my airplane, I have and entry that AD 67-6-3 was
complied with but no mention of if an new bellcrank was installed. Are
there any identifying marks on the new bellcranks or is there any
physical evidence that can be looked at to tell if the AD was in fact
done?
Also, my airplane has aileron counter weights that are approx. 13
inches long and are screwed to the aileron. Is this configuration
correct?
One more. What determines how much fluid to put in the nose strut?
The tap has awire dipstick-like device with no marks on it to idicate
fluid level. We can't seem to find any guidance on this.
We are trying to be very thorough on this annual because the aircraft
is in a new location with a new AI going through it. Any information
on these issues would be welcome.
