If there is a serious mechanical or design flaw in an airplane, then it needs to be corrected before someone gets hurt, and AD's are the mechanism by which the entire fleet gets corrected. If my airplane has a mechanical or design problem, then I want to know about it. If I don't want to know about it, then I shouldn't be flying at all. From what I have seen, very few if any AD's are issued that are not warranted. No flames from this side of town. BTW, Haven't seen you in the Citation lately. You using stealth technology now?
