The key word here is "approved" An "approved" safety belt must meet atleast TSO C22f (published in 1972) or the newest TSO C22g and must have tags identifying it as meeting said TSO. And all safety belts for standard category aircraft must be "approved" Bill

I want to research if this is legal. Since the 415C was designed under CAR rules, the strap-and-clamp belt may have been original equipment. Part 23 requires metal-to-metal. The original belts are not listed in the TCDS, and I haven't been able to cross-reference the seat belt part number to determine what belt was original. So are these legal belts? mitch __________________________________________________________Climb to the top of the charts!
