All... As I progress through my student pilot tasks, I have a few questions related to my check ride, etc. It appears as a number of things in the PTS book appear to be unable to be performed in my Ercoupe, i.e. slips, rudder control/practices, time under a hood, etc. I have no rudders or instruments that would permit these and a few other tasks. Does my PP certificate get an "asterisk"?
Due to the 2008 Economic Stimulus Act, I will likely buy a new plane this year (the tax beak is simply to big to ignore). Obviously, I would have to get checked out in anything I buy, but I hope my PP certificate is not severely limited. Thoughts? Kim Blackseth 2332H
