Also, couldn't a Coupe keep the factory standard fuel system, and still
basically get O-200 performance?

  I know that this is a very popular conversion for the Aeronca Champ folks.
I've heard that it really becomes an O-200 in almost all respects.  But it
remains, legally, an 85 hp engine.  That's important to the Champ people,
because once you cross the 90 hp line, a one time wing spar AD becomes
recurring, annually, for planes with > 90 hp.
