F&M has received approval for a change to the installation instructions allowing more brands of filters to be used.
One is the Tempest filter, which I feel is the best choice. It contains an internal magnet to snag ferrous bits and also has a bypass setting more in line with the Continental design philosophy than the others. F&M intends the approval to be extended to prior installations and has granted permission for new instructions to be freely distributed.
